General Summary

The HR Manager owns the full employee lifecycle at Amend Business Solutions (ABS) — from a candidate’s first conversation through their last day. Recruitment, selection, onboarding, ongoing management, and offboarding all sit with this role, at every site. Reporting to the Operations Director and leading the HR team, the HR Manager writes the policies that shape how ABS treats its people, then stays close enough to the floor to work a live employee issue the same afternoon.

What You'll Own

  • Lead the HR function: Direct the HR team, set priorities, and make sure day-to-day HR service is fast, accurate, and consistent at every site.
  • Align people plans with business partners: Work with Operations to understand staffing profiles, coverage, vetting standards, and ramp timelines — then shape hiring plans and policy so company and partner needs pull in the same direction.
  • Own hiring: Run recruiting and selection end to end — postings, sourcing, interviews, offers, and onboarding. Keep roles filled ahead of operational need, not after it.
  • Handle employee relations: Serve as the bridge between management and employees. Investigate and resolve grievances, complaints, and performance issues promptly and fairly.
  • Run performance management: Own the review cycle. Give managers the tools and cadence to set goals, deliver feedback, and document performance.
  • Close out offboarding: Manage separations start to finish — exit interviews, final pay, equipment and system access recovery, and separation documentation. Track turnover and bring the patterns back to leadership.
  • Manage pay and benefits: Maintain pay plans, medical insurance, and social insurance registration and filings. Work with Finance and Accounting on labor cost, payroll accuracy, and budget.
  • Keep it compliant: Ensure practices meet Egyptian labor law at every site. Coordinate with Legal on policy, handbooks, and escalated matters. Keep documentation audit-ready.
  • Own HR systems and data: Maintain the HRIS and personnel records. Report headcount, turnover, and time-to-fill to leadership with recommendations attached, not just numbers.
  • Support training: Work with the Training & Quality Assurance Manager to identify development needs and make sure onboarding and training programs actually land.
  • Serve the ABS ecosystem: Support HR needs across the affiliated companies in the ABS ecosystem, keeping policy and practice aligned where it makes sense.
  • Shape the culture: Build a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment — and protect it when it is threatened. Own the HR budget and vendor relationships.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in HR, including time as an HR Manager or in another senior HR role.
  • Hands-on experience running recruitment, compensation, and benefits programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of Egyptian labor law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • High ethical standards and complete discretion with confidential information.
  • Strong active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Able to hold a hard conversation.
  • Organized under competing priorities, with nothing dropped along the way.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice to Have

  • HR certification — SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or CIPD.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Multi-site or business services experience.
  • Experience supporting affiliated entities under a shared services structure.

Success in the First Year

  • Open roles are filled within target time-to-fill and onboarding runs the same way at every site.
  • Handbooks, policies, and personnel files are current and audit-ready.
  • Managers run performance conversations on a set cadence without HR chasing them.
  • Leadership sees headcount, turnover, and hiring metrics on a regular reporting rhythm.
